Good Horror Movies

Do any of you know some good horror/slasher/scary/zombie (vampires werewolves etc.) movies that arent crap and actually scare you (dont have to be new ones), cause most of the ones ive seen recently were pretty shitty, or were more funny than scary (the omen)

few that make my list are
Gates of Hell (not really that great of a plot but it freaked me out)
the resident evil movies
I am legend
Dawn of the dead
Exorcist
forgot alot of the other ones

i am legend did have alot of filler in it but it was badass.
I love dawn of the dead ive prolly seen it like 5 times
Ill try to watch it this upcoming weekend. I heard that The Descent was pretty scary from a few of my friends, so i might also watch that one

texas chainsaw massacre pissed me off when that one girl started hitting leatherface instead of picking up his chainsaw that he dropped. They were way to stupid. I did like jeepers creepers and 13 ghosts though.

as soon as i get time im gonna try watching all these... that just reminded me bout this movie called kids (i think thats it, I'm not completely sure though) but my friends dad won't show it to us till we all are 17 cause its so fucked up
