Is it possible to run a sms server/gateway on your computer and send text messages to phones from your computer?

Easiest way is via SMTP, just email it to your phone.

Yeah I know.. but after like 200 emails.. the phone companies get smart and consider it spam and dont send it.

I'm guessing if its from an sms server.. they will think its more legit and send lets say... 2000... texts lol.

Edit:: I made an php email spammer that did that.

Then you call them and tell them to keep it. They can't stop you from doing it.

I'm saying even if I send 2000 texts.. they only get 200.. I want them to get 2000.

Oh now thats just evil. I'm actually not sure i doubt it, you probably would need to use AIM or something for that

remember +1*number* as the screen name = a text message. Combine that + your php script.

Oh, that's a nice trick. I should just make a program to send an IM like once every 5 seconds.. whats a good wait time so that the screen name doesn't get rated? Is there a way to make an AIM bot in like python or something? I'd eventually like to be able to like ssh into my computer and type something and it starts texting.

Would there be a way to integrate this into ssh? So i can like ssh into my computer and be like mail <email> 100 and it would send 100 emails out?
