school computer exploits/fun!!

ITT submit fun things to do with school computers. or any exploits you may know!

changing wall paper at school:
if your properties menu is blocked, then you school computers likely have default wallpaper for all the computers.
-this wallpaper is usually stored on the C: drive in the "Windows" folder.
-find the picture you want as your wallpaper and and save it as w,e your default wallpaper pic is called IE mine is called "prairie wind"
-now rename the original picture. and save your new picture with the name the original was called. (IE go to windows rename "Prairie wind.bmp" to "wind.bmp" then rename the sweet batman picture are "Prairie wind.bmp" and save it in local c >>windows file)
- now log out and log back in and your wallpaper is changed!

Burn a Linux CD and boot some of the computers from it.

hahaha that would be fun.. but i would still have limited connectivity to the network =/ someone installed vista last year

this might sould dumb but isnt doing that Linux thing called dual booting? or is that when you split your hardrive to have two seperate OS?
sorry if thats a stupid question.....

you can also run the live version!!. which requires no installation!!

by pass security messures and internet blocks

-log in. log back out and uplug the network cable. then log back in. plug the cable back in when the screen says 'applying settings"

this allows you to connect to the network with out most of the security features

cant say for sure.... i know it works at my school.. and most other peoples schools that i know... just depends on how the security system works at your school

just be careful not to like do any work.. this kid did it the other day.. and did i project still not completely logged in.. and he lost all his work lol
