Default Apple=Problems

Ok well, Apple really disappointed me yesterday. I get online at 10Am when the iPod Touch 2.0 software is SUPPOSED to be out. Well it turns out that with all of the new iPhone 3Gs being activated and the older iPhones being upgraded the apple servers began to slow down... A lot. So whats the sensible thing to do? Stop all of those lowly iPod Touch users from downloading the software so that their iPhone customers could activate theirs quicker. Well thanks a lot apple. You would think that because they're charging us to upgrade that they wouldn't push us to the back of the line...

But, I got lucky. Because the servers were so fucked up, some people who had to completely restore their iPods managed to sneak through a crack in the servers for about 10 minutes and get the firmware for free. I was one of those lucky people. Apple fixed that problem quickly but a bunch of People still managed to get the update for free!
