Default C Language Programming

Hey ppl, can someone help me find a good place to start learning how to use the C Language? Im a total noob and have like no background in programming. I have algebra background and im in the middle of Geometry. A textbook like thinggy or .pdf would be nice because those are actually like formal and real, but anything that would help such a helpless noob like me would be appreciated! Thanks for you time and I hope you help me find a place to start to learn the art of programming.

O'Reilly is a very popular "programming book collection"

If you are familiar with torrents you can get a suite of c, c#, c++ and java from: C#, C, C++ and Java (download torrent) - TPB

The above link in a torrent, if you do not know how to download torrents please review: BitTorrent, the future of downloading | Tutorial Ninjas

No problem, feel free to come back! Whether its just to chat or if you have more specific programming questions.

However you probably won't get help in c# from me unless I am in a very good mood, as I am a .net//microsoft hater.

one suggestion i might add is to go to your local library, they might have a C# book for dummies. check the book out.I found it easier to do stuff out of the book then try to learn the language while switching between multiple windows for random help sites. You could go a step farther and use a digital camera on either macro or text mode and take a picture of some of the major pages/sections and look at those after you have to turn the book back in. just a thought though.

You could look into ebooks for dummies, might have that too.
