Pop-ups/Ads

I am using Google chrome as an internet browser and sometimes when I go to a site I get those F****** annoying ads saying I won a Nintendo Wii or something like that. I'm not talking about just the picture being there because I'm fine with that, but it talks so when I'm trying to watch a show it does its retarded saying ruining the show and being really LOUD. Is there an add-on or something like that?? I know I could use the Google Tool-Bar Add-On in Firefox, but I'm not sure if you can use Add-ons with chrome or how to do it for that matter. Any halp is appreciated!

You cant really block pop-ups yet in Chrome, but in Firefox, just get AdBlock Plus. It did me wonders

I know i think I will stick with Firefox until they fix this problem of great annoyance
