Default Firefox questions

(I have Firefox 3)

Is there any option/add-on that can change the default place to put bookmarks? When I want to add a bookmark, i click the star in the address bar, and then have to click it again to change it to be in my bookmarks toolbar (where i want all my bookmarks)

AHH! Why isn't firefox storing my information? In IE, i had no problems. So far, it only does this on two websites:

tribalwars.net: this is really annoying....even when i click the little "save my account name and password" check box, it doesnt keep me logged in like in IE....firefox helpfully fills in the password space, but not my account name space...so i have to type that in, then select from a drop down list one of 7 different worlds that i play on....in IE, where it keeps me logged in, i only have to click the login button (no typing) and then more buttons come up with the different worlds (no selecting from a drop down) saving me plenty of time [currently to get around this, i still go to this site in IE]

Kongregate.com: also on Kongregate, IE keeps me logged in...but this isn't so annoying as TribalWars...for this one, my account name and password text boxes are blank, and i just have to type in my username, then firefox fills in my pass.....but still, the "remember me" button is useless....this site i still visit on firefox

these both worked fine, when i first switched to firefox, until i logged out once, then they all fell apart

does anyone have any helpful solutions for either of these?

??? thats pretty weird ive had firefox for about 2 months now and nothing like that has ever happened to me before but my best guess about the problem is that u either downloaded firefox wrong or it might just be ur computer

the reason firefox dosent keep you logged in is probably because you probably dont have cookies enabled. goto help>options>click the security tab (i think) make sure "accept cookies" or something like that is enabled.

hope this helps
