Default Control Windows Media Player from your Internet Explorer (or Firefox) Window
I've been looking for this for a while now, and now that I've found it, I will share it!
This is not limited to WMP either, it works with iTunes and various other media players
Download the program here:
Download FoxyTunes for Internet Explorer
Download FoxyTunes for Firefox

foxy tunes is kind of like a remote-control...you cant download music from it
