guitar hero 4 or rock band 2?

we all saw it coming. there isn't, and will not be an end to these games. pretty soon we will be playing marry had a little lamb (remix version of course)on expert. but lets go ahead and talk about the big new things that will come with the new game. according to rumors there will be a drum set, a new guitar, singing, and all that good jazz just like rock band, but with some new things. create your own songs, characters and stuff like that. sounds good.

now lets talk about rock band 2. i haven't heard anything about this. do you even think there will be one? i hope so. but then again there isn't much new stuff they could bring to the table.

so i ask you, if rock band 2 and gh4 came out at the same time, wich would you buy? they are basically the same thing.

the drum set will have three "drums" and two "symbols" or so it says in gameinformer and a few other sites. so we'll have to see how it goes. XD

I don't really like Rock Band that much and I will be pretty content with Guitar Hero 3 for a long time.

no, you are not stupid. your totally right. i am a big fan of the apperance. Rock ban looks crappy, almost has a kind of GH2 look to it. I love Guitar Hero 3. Only thing about rockband is that its 4 Player, which is great for when i have a party.

if i had to buy one, ide probably pick Guitar Hero 4, just because if it comes with drums etc, then heck- thats like the double whammy. the multiplayer of Rockband + good interface would be great!

i really like rock band. the only reason most people only like one or the other is because it is totally different. i have been flip flopping back and fourth by playing one for 2 months and then the other. it is much different. i, personally, like the rock band guitar because it's more "realistic".

as for parties, i do like rock band over gh. it's just that much easier.
