It requires a constant good upload, I don't know of any plans for just upload that are cheap and you still need good download to get data from the clients. So you need good overall bandwith, when you download a torrent or something you will be killing everyones connection to the game.
The car works by sound, the doorbell would be two devices, the actual bell and then a small box that talk to eachother via RF. But the box also has a wifi + usb plugin to do messages. It is just a project i would like to do when i get the time, I could also integrate a webcam to see who it is at the door. The sound is enough but it just isn't geeky. |
